Weekend At Mayfair

Emme, Tippi, Mom & Dad spent the weekend with the Mayfair family and had a wonderful time. In addition to fabulous, gourmet meals, and beautiful vistas of fruit trees, bunny rabbits and blue skies, we played with all the doggies. Tennie had a huge belly awaiting her puppies, and three of them were born on Monday, the day after we left. She had one boy Tricolor, one girl Tricolor, and one girl Blenheim. Congratulations, Tennie!

Welcome

The blog photo is of my two darlings, Emme and Tippi, who are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and wagged into my life in 2007/2008 respectively. They are sisters, one year apart, and my husband and I plan our lives around these two little monkeys.

They came into our home after Fergie passed away at age 15, one year after Lucy died at 17. We have been very lucky with our Cavaliers' health, and like to think this is because we are not too picky about their food (half of is from our meal, half good kibble), and we make sure they get lots of walks, love, and licks in.

My next post will be about our food, which is fresh, homemade, and delicious. I'm currently doing the "Julie & Julia" thing and working my way through Ina Garten's new book, "Back to Basics." So far, the appetizers and cocktails are outstanding!
